Raymond Trice Indicted for String of Sexual Assaults and Burglaries

(Anchorage, AK) – On August 20, 2020, an Anchorage grand jury indicted 37-year-old Raymond Bernard Trice for multiple sexual assaults and burglaries that occurred at 3726 Peterkin Avenue in the early morning hours of August 9, 2020. The grand jury charged two counts of Sexual Assault in the First Degree, two counts of Sexual Assault in the Second Degree, one count of Attempted Sexual Assault in the Second Degree, and three counts of Burglary in the First Degree. The charges comprise conduct involving three separate victims.

If convicted at trial, Mr. Trice faces a sentence of up to 99 years imprisonment on each count of first-degree sexual assault. The charges in the indictment are only allegations and are not evidence of guilt.  Mr. Trice is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the prosecution must prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Currently, Mr. Trice is in the custody of the Department of Corrections. His bail has been set at $250,000 cash appearance and $250,000 cash performance. Mr. Trice is scheduled to be arraigned before the Superior Court on August 24, 2020.
